Luis Matías is a former post-doctoral fellow from Cuenca (Castilla-La Mancha). Now, he is the CEO & principal investigator of a biotech start-up dedicated to increase plant therapeutical potential.

In particular, they use trichomes, or plant-hairs, as natural biofactories to produce medicinal & aromatic products of interest.

In his free time, he really likes travelling and writing. Indeed, from his last “long-trip” he has published a historic novel based on legendary characters of the silk road.
