Irma Roig is a post-doctoral fellow from Barcelona (Catalonia) working on genetics and genomics of fruit crops.
In the lab, she investigates the genetic determinants controlling the quality of the fruit in horticultural species such as tomato and melon.

Irma loves open-air activities and travels. As she can’t plan trips every weekend, she often goes out for running, or trekking, or running in the mountain.
